/ 'Business in Russia' Hints / | Conseco Press is a Russian-Finnish consulting company established in 1990. The two directions of the Company’s activity are successfully developed: - legal practice, including tax and legal consulting; - publishing of business-orientated editions on tax and legal issues. Consulting services Conseco Press has a substantial practice of advice on various legal aspects of: • Corporate Law and Corporate Finance – such as: mergers and acquisitions, structuring business activity, equity structuring and securities regulation, corporate governance, equity and debt financing, competition and antimonopoly regulations; • Commercial Law and Finance - such as: transactions structuring and support, contractual relationships, conflict of laws, security of obligations, contractual and statutory liability, financial issues, including payments and settlements, currency regulations, debt restructuring and set-offs, etc. We also advise on various aspects of tax legislation and provide consulting services on: • all types of taxes established by the Russian legislation and taxation procedures including customs taxation and excise taxation, taxation optimization, elaborating optimal tax structures, etc.; • taxation of cross-border transactions, including but not limited to advice on applicability of double taxation treaties, tax burden minimization and exemptions granted in Russia, etc. Publishing of business-orientated editions on tax and legal issues The most prominent CONSECO edition which has established its standing is the Source Guide "The ABC of Russian Business Law", issued since 1990 both in Russian and in English. The ABC of Russian Business Law is a summary of the effective Russian legislation issued in a loose-leaf binder, renewed and amended every two months. Conseco Press enjoys as well the copyright rights to the Series “Legislation in Tables” published in Russian. |
